All payments are processed through PayPal. PayPal accepts most major credit cards. You do not need to sign up for a PayPal account in order to complete your purchase.
Papyrus Jewelry does not store your credit card information as this is all processed through PayPal.

Interac e-Transfer (Canadian Customers ONLY)

For customers in Canada, we accept payments via Interac e-Transfer, there are no fees associated in your transaction with us utilizing this payment method. Please check with your financial institution if there are any fees they may charge you.

Shipping fees include postage costs, payment processing fees as well as insurance.
As we utilize PayPal to process your payment, there are PayPal fees that are associated with your transaction. Instead of factoring these fees into our item price, we decided to make these fees transparent to our customers on where a small portion of their money is going.

The fee structure below is derived from information on the PayPal website and has no bearing what-so-ever with Papyrus Jewelry, other than us collecting this fee in order to pay for fees that we are charged using PayPal as our payment processor.

PayPal

PayPal fees (%) are displayed within the “tax” line. Whilst they are NOT a tax, at this point in time, this is the only way for fees to be accurately reflected as PayPal fees.
PayPal also charge a transaction fee of 0.30c.

Fees associated with insurance are shown within the “Handling” line along with the PayPal fee (lesser $ / .c amount).  
We have no control over PayPal or our third party insurer changing their fees. If there are any increases to fees, they will be reflected in the question titled "Fees - What fees do you charge" as well as within their respective line at the point of checkout when selecting your shipping option.

  • Shipping times exclude holidays and weekends. 
  • Orders placed over the weekend will be shipped the following business day. 
  • Shipping times are based on Canada Posts delivery schedule and the distance to your destination. 
  • Papyrus Jewelry will not be held liable or responsible for shipping delays once it is lodged within the Canada Post Network.
For special days such as Christmas, Valentine's Day, Mothers Day & Fathers Day etc we require 10 business days prior to the holiday for shipments.
Shipping is calculated by weight and is based on a weight range as defined by Canada Post.
Shipping charges depend on the weight of the item/s and the volume size of the parcel being sent.

A great deal has been spent in calculating weight bands and related pricing which is based on the Canada Post website.

Yes, all orders shipped are insured to the total value of your order (incl shipping) with our third party insurer.
Every effort has been made for safe and secure shipping. Before signing, please check your shipment thoroughly upon receipt.

If in the unfortunate event your order arrives damaged, any damage or breakage observed must be noted on the delivery receipt as "Damaged Packages". Please notify us within 48 HOURS of receipt. Please e-mail ‘clear’ photographs (not blurred) specifically showing ‘up close’ the exact area of damage as well as damage sustained to any packaging.
If your order has not arrived within the time frame stated within Canada Posts Delivery Guide and provided that your parcel has tracking, please advise so we can request a tracer, that is, ask Canada Post to try and locate where the parcel is within the Canada Post Network. Please note that this process could take up-to 60 days.
  • Please ensure that you keep all original packaging (boxes, pouches, bubble wrap, foam, foam shells, foam sheets, mailers etc) as the claim team may ask for this. 
  • Please ensure that all your contact details are up-to date with us as your details will be provided when we initiate the request on your behalf. 
  • Once we have initiated the request they will then be in contact. 

Please Note:

All insurance claims are managed by Canada Post and our Third party insurer and are granted at their discretion.

Prior to your order being shipped, photographs are taken of how the item was packaged.
All items are packaged with protective bubble wrap and sent in a bubble mailer to your destination.  This is in addition to your selected jewelry packaging type.

Yes, we offer three types of packaging options that you can select within the product you are interested in.  This packaging is in addition to other protective packaging that we use and is currently offered for free.

The options are:

1. No Frills:

Your item/s are protectively packaged in bubble wrap and placed inside a bubble wrap mailer then mailed to you  via your chosen shipping method.

2. Fabric Pouch:

Your items are inserted into a fabric pouch and protectively wrapped in bubble wrap then placed inside a bubble wrap mailer and mailed to you via your chosen shipping method.

3. Gift Box:

Your items is packaged in a white gift box which is wrapped in either bubble wrap or protective foam sheeting and inserted into a bubble mailer then mailed to you via your chosen shipping method.
Great care is taken to craft each and every piece. As your chosen jewelry is hand made there will be variances between colors, size, shape, texture & finish.

  • Warranty is valid for 30 days from either: date of purchase (in person), date of receipt utilizing Xpresspost / Tracked Packet USA, or, 10 days commencing after the item has been shipped via USA Small Packet.
  • No warranty, repairs, and/or returns are accepted with items shipped VIA the “No Frills” method.
  • Warranty Excludes excessive wear & tear, theft, damage attributed to improper care (as defined within our Jewelry Care section), loss, or change of mind.
  • If your merchandise is damaged due to a manufacturer defect, Papyrus Jewelry will attempt to repair the item, or, offer you a replacement item from stock available or a store credit to use at a later time.
  • If in the event your item received is damaged as a result of shipping, please notify Papyrus Jewelry within 48 hours. Please refer to Insurance Claims section.
  • For all warranty repairs & insurance claims, customers are responsible for shipping BOTH ways and it is highly recommended that you obtain tracking references and insurance as Papyrus Jewelry will not be held liable for missing / damaged items in transit.
  • For warranty / insurance claims, please use the contact form and e-mail us prior to shipping your item back.
  • No item will be accepted unless there is an accompanying RA# (return authorization number).
