Welcome to Papyrus Jewelry

In 2006, my artistic journey began with the malleable world of Polymer Clay, sculpting intricate Wedding Cake Toppers then broadening my horizon to encompass anything and everything celebration cake toppers. Upon arriving in Canada, I was keen to explore a new medium and was intrigued with hand paper making. Through the years of dedicated practice and experimentation, I've evolved my skills, merging the realms of polymer clay and handmade paper, sparking a profound exploration that has since defined my creative path crafting the distinctive designs embodied in Papyrus Jewelry's signature designs.

As a self-taught artisan, I am continually driven to expand my artistic horizons. My jewelry designs have been shown in Calgary, Cochrane, Banff and Canmore, with ongoing aspirations for further destinations. In 2018, my work received recognition from Ann Martin of All Things Paper, marking a significant milestone in my artistic journey (read article here ). The year 2020 witnessed a transformative shift as I delved into paper as both an art and sculptural form in addition to my jewelry designs. Each piece is a testament to my artistic evolution, exploring new dimensions, forms, art and boundaries. Fueled by a passion for the unconventional, my love lies with recycled denim jeans and exploring diverse plant fibers such as hemp, pineapple, potatoe, rhubarb & crab apples (to name a few) into my creations.

As my artistic voice continues to unfold, my journey becomes a canvas, each creation echoing the rhythm of growth and innovation in the delicate dance between materials and mediums. On view, I have a curated selection of jewelry designs, handmade paper and an artfolio, Enjoy!
